THE STORY -

 As the thousands of tiny sperm raced to intercept the large egg structure floating in goo who knew that the one tailed wonder that finally succeeded would end up to be such a striking figure of a human being...J.P. was born in a far off land devoid of scorpions and monkeys there he would grow for only a short period of time watching sheep out side his window wondering "wow maybe one day the fuzz on my back will look like that". Luckily it never did...With a father in the military travels brought J.P. to strange and foreign lands, North Dakota, Nebraska, Maine, where were the exotic places he wondered and why are they bringing me to them...Alas, these questions would never be answered. Music became an essential part of his life early when his mother would sing songs of love, peril, and salvation as thoughts teemed in his mind wondering if a slight modulation of a particular verse would bring him closer to heaven...His loving parents bought him his first electric guitar at age 11 after he had shown vigor in playing his mothers classical nylon string. It reminded one of a piece of driftwood held solidly together by fishing wire. None the less the crude instrument allowed progression and prosperity in developing musical talents that had been hidden deep in a murky lagoon. The first band he partook in "the Smellies" were not as good as the name implied lacking a bass player and drummer, but making up for it with a Tuba. It was at a local talent show the he met up and joined "Hill of Beans" (dubbed by guitarists mother taunting that they would never amount to a ...). The band recorded a studio album that is now priceless and will remain forever in the cosmos. After High School he moved to Radford to attend the university and began to develop a love and thirst for knowledge and science. When asked his influences he stated that there were not too many, but among the few included Greyboy Allstars, Karl Denson, Lake Trout, and the Smellies. He plans to college with degrees in Biology, Environmental science and a minor in chemistry by the year 2003. After which he believes the world will take him somewhere to do something.
