Funk is a native Southwest Virginiatarian. Having said that, it is well understood that there is a hint of redneck blood and a unique not-easily-defined vibe surrounding this Appalachain freak. Born in Galax, VA and moving several places in between, he was plopped in Radford, VA many years ago and had festered there until moving to Georgia. This wacky semi-defined sizzle-chest has played the drums for over 10 years and recently proved to his somewhat doubtful family that he actually has the capacity as an Appalachian freak to graduate from Radford University with a degree!-(in music however, which is almost like not having a degree at all). This slap-nuts has crawled out of the depths of the New River Valley to plague the world (or at least a little chunk of it) with his drums. And perhaps work in a gas station, where the freaks live and drink 40 oz.s of King Cobra). Funk would like to thank his parents for letting him be obnoxious on the drums for many basement years.
